The artist, who was born in Trabzon in 1951, has finished Gazi Egitim Institute Painting Section in 1977.
In his paintings Adil Ocak follows the question of "Not the existence as it is but how the existence should be". He is the artists who paints the trees in nature in abstraction and forms them according to his mood as round geometrical forms and reflects them on his canvas. The artist describes these trees as different kind of instruments in the symphony orchestra of nature. Therefore he tries to catch the harmony of the trees in the nature as a conductor of orchestra. He also tries to catch the tinkles in the painting by a local light form which reflects the light of happiness in his soul to his canvases.
